Mrs. ANJALI BHAGWAT
(Founder & Director)
Anjali Bhagwat, former World No. 1 rifle shooter, is among India’s most accomplished shooting athletes. A three-time Olympian and recipient of the Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award, she has won numerous medals at the World Cups, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. She is recognized as India’s first Olympic shooting finalist and the first Indian shooter to win the ISSF Champion of Champions title.
An ISSF B Certified Coach and faculty member at the ISSF Academy, Anjali brings more than three decades of competitive and international experience to athlete development. She co-founded Medallion Shooting Foundation to identify, develop and mentor promising young shooters, sharing her expertise, discipline and high-performance approach to help nurture the next generation of Indian shooting talent.
Mr. MANDAR BHAGWAT
(Co-Founder & Director)
Mandar Bhagwat has been associated with shooting sport for over 25 years, supporting Anjali Bhagwat throughout her professional career and contributing to the development of the sport beyond the competition arena.
An Electronics Engineer and entrepreneur, he brings extensive experience in business leadership, management and organisation-building to the Foundation. His focus is on creating a professionally managed, sustainable ecosystem that enables athletes and sporting programs to grow.
His sporting involvement and management experience complement Anjali’s competitive and coaching expertise in building Medallion Shooting Foundation.
