Mrs. Anjali Mandar Bhagwat

Anjali Bhagwat, former World No. 1 rifle shooter, is among India’s most decorated shooting athletes. A three-time Olympian and recipient of the Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award, she has earned numerous medals at the World Cups, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games. She is also recognized as India’s first Olympic shooting finalist and the first Indian shooter to win the ISSF Champion of Champions title.
Anjali is ISSF B Certified and serves as a coach at the ISSF Academy, reflecting her continued commitment to the development of the sport and the advancement of coaching excellence at the international level.
Drawing on more than three decades of competitive excellence and international experience, Anjali co-founded the Medallion Shooting Foundation with the vision of identifying, developing, and mentoring promising young shooting talent. Through the Foundation, she seeks to share her expertise, discipline, and high-performance mindset, helping nurture the next generation of Indian shooters and supporting their journey toward success on the world stage.
Mr. Mandar Suresh Bhagwat

Mandar Bhagwat has been actively associated with the sport of shooting for over 25 years, managing the professional career and allied activities of his wife, Anjali Bhagwat, former World No. 1 Rifle Shooter. Driven by a passion to promote shooting sports at the grassroots level and inspired by Anjali’s international experience, he co-founded Medallion Shooting Foundation to nurture future talent through a professionally managed ecosystem.
An Electronics Engineer (B.E.) from the University of Mumbai, Mandar is also a first-generation entrepreneur who has successfully led a manufacturing enterprise in Pune since 1993. He brings decades of business leadership and management expertise to ensure the Foundation operates with efficiency, transparency, and a long-term vision for excellence.
